About

I am currently working as a Software Analyst for McKenzie-Willamette Medical Group. Prior to that, I was a System Information Specialist for Pape Corporation in Eugene Oregon. At both organizations, I troubleshoot and resolve IT tickets and employee IT related inquiries, have inventory duties, re-image devices, troubleshoot credit card swipers, check scanners, printers, and have opportunity for travel to set up systems at company sites. I am familiar with all systems

In my current position, I also conduct daily, monthly, and yearly AS400 Database backups, monthly and yearly processing in IBM systems, monthly and yearly accounting processing using MedHost and the AS400.

Prior to this time, while I was still in college, I was an IT Intern at HIV Alliance. There, I updated company computers with software and systems, provided customer support using help tickets, troubleshooted minor technological problems, and maintained tech-related equipment.

In June 2022, I received my Associate's Degree in Cyber Security, graduating with a 3.6 cumulative GPA. Although I have not had a position in Cyber Security as of yet, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in the IT field.

Prior to my career in IT, I worked part time for myself in IT related work, helping people with their technology set-ups, and helping them with basic troubleshooting. I also worked in retail, where I became very familiar with, and very good at working with customers. Communication is a primary soft skill that any employee should have as this is a resource that helps businesses and services thrive. As I was working in retail, I also was working for myself as an IT technician. I had a small clientelle as I worked part time.
